The purpose of this work is to achieve high efficiency, economical use of systems and ensure proper operation in order to minimize service interruptions. They also ensure greater operational safety while achieving high-level ecological combustion and maintaining parts and devices within the original manufacturer's specifications. The work must be carried out according to the rules of the art and the standards applicable to the field of expertise. The Bidder must hold and maintain in force a Contractor licence, issued by the Regie du batiment du Quebec in the category General Contractor. It must also hold the following specialized categories: 15.1 Forced air heating systems 15.2 Natural gas burner systems 15.3 Oil burner systems 15.4 Hydronic heating systems 15.5 Plumbing 15.6 Propane Brief description of work: The Service Provider shall annually: 1. Clean the soot from the boilers on the fire side, including combustion chambers, pipes, chimney bases and observation windows; 2. Replace oil filters; 3. Adjust the burners for maximum efficiency and economy; 4. Conduct combustion tests (low fire and high fire) and provide the results to the Public Body (after repairs, if necessary); 5. Check and inspect combustion chambers; 6. Check and inspect safety controls; 7. Check and inspect booster pumps and change oil filters; 8. Open cleaning panel and rinse exchanger with water at city pressure; 9. Disassemble, clean with compressed air, Check and inspect the motor arrangement, manifold and burner wick; 10. Replace the igniter and flame detector. 11. Check and inspect for water, flue gas and natural gas leaks. In addition, the Service Provider shall annually: 12. Clean, Check and Inspect the condensate collector; 13. Check the pH of the condensate at the outlet of the neutralization cartridge; 14. Replace the neutralization stones inside; 15.
