The purpose of this Request for Bid is to solicit caompetitive bids from landscape and irrigation contractors for services described in the project scope of work (SOW) documents for Canyons School District (CSD). It is anticipated that this RFB may result in a contract awarded to a qualified contractor for services as defined further in the solicitation. This RFB is designed to provide interested contractors with sufficient basic information to submit bids meeting minimum requirements, but is not intended to limit a bid's content or exclude any relevant or essential data. All bid preparation costs and any associated activities related to this RFB are the sole responsibility of the Supplier. Question Deadline 06/06/2025 at 11:00 AM MT This scope of work is for the sod replacement of 80,000-85,000 square feet on the Brighton High School soccer field. This project also includes reducing the crown of the field to be more in line with our other high school sports fields. When the project is completed, the crown of the field should be within 1%- 1.5% (12"-18") from the center of the field to the sidelines. This would require removal of material from the field. Sod replacement must be of a high-quality sports blend turf. QA- 6/3/25 At this time we are unsure how much material will need to be removed. We are assuming that at least 4 will need to be removed to endure that all of the roots are removed. We will need to review the survey report. We would like a 6 base. We will add another line item to bid topsoil by the cubic yard at 6 depth. The top soil does not need to be screened. Amend with 50-50 Sandy Loam mixture.
