DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK - The scope of work involves furnishing all of the required labor, materials, equipment, implements, parts and supplies necessary for, or appurtenant to the Radiant Heater Replacement on Courts 7-9. Disconnecting gas, power and control wiring from 8 existing heaters, furnish and install 8 new Dayton 60,000 btu infrared hanging heaters, furnish and install 8 new line voltage thermostats,pipe existing gas lines and electrical to each heater. Fill each intake and exhaust pipe from the existing units with insulation and cap the inside and outside of each. Provide one lift. Work must be performed within the time frame most conducive with Racket Club operations, starting after July 21st and completing project by August 29th, 2025. INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS - All proposals must be accompanied by a Bidder's Bond, a Certified Check,Cashier's Check or Bank Draft for 10% (ten percent) of the total bid made payable to the Crystal Lake Park District.Each bid shall also include three (3) references of clients for which similar work was performed, listing the name,address and telephone number of the client, a description of the work, and the construction cost. ILLINOIS PREVAILING WAGE ACT - All contracts for the Construction of Public Works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). REJECTION OF BIDS - The Crystal Lake Park District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities.
