Request for Demolition Bids The City of Kewanee is seeking bids for the Mowing of Kewanee Mobile Home Park Properties. The work consists of: 1. Removal of all litter prior to initiating mowing to prevent the blowing of debris. 2. Mowing of all the forementioned properties to a maximum height of 5 inches. 3. Line trimming around all mobile homes, concrete pads, poles, signs, utility connections at all mobile home pads and any other obstacles on the properties. 4. Removal of any grass clippings or other debris from roadways and storm sewer drainage. Mowing shall begin immediately after the bid award has been announced and contract signed by the winning bidder and the City. Mowing shall continue throughout the season until the properties become dormant in the fall of 2025. In submitting this proposal, it is understood that the right is reserved by the City to reject any and all proposals. It is agreed that this proposal may not be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days from the opening thereof. The City reserves the right to terminate the contract at any time for any reason. Bidders must provide proof of public liability insurance in the sum of $50000.00. It is understood and agreed that the award will be made to the lowest responsible bidder who submits the proposal that provides the City, in its opinion, the best value. The City of Kewanee reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities.
