Renovation of a multi-residential development in St. John's, Newfoundland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

Closing Time: 12:00 PM (NT) ** Please note that there has been 3 addendum issued for this project. ** Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/06/06 03:00:00 PM NDT Work on this project includes, but is not limited to, nineteen (19) interior oil tank replacements. Work for this project is as specified herein and referred to in the specifications. Oil tank replacements are to take place at the following locations: 8 Goodview Street; 76, 78, 80, 84, 86, 88, 90, 110, 114-132 Livingstone Street Demolition, Disposal, & Existing Oil Removal 1 Remove and dispose of all items, as per specifications, throughout the interior and exterior of unit, including but not limited to garbage, any items being replaced or removed, old tanks and related equipment, and any other miscellaneous items. Items to be disposed of at an approved disposal facility. 2 Decommission & dispose/recycle of the existing oil tanks at an approved disposal facility in a manner acceptable to the Department of Environment and Climate Change. .3 Should wall demolition be necessary to complete installation contractor will notify NL Housing and arrange a time for NL Housing forces to complete demolition as needed. .4 Remove existing oil from the old tanks and arrange for the relocation/recycling of the contents in a manner acceptable to the Department of Environment and Climate Change. Existing oil is not to be moved to new tanks. .5 Contractor is required to record the amount of oil in each tank and to report each tank's amount to NL Housing representative. Oil Tank Replacement 1 Supply & install new 200-gallon standard fiberglass oil tanks at each location complete with all required accessories, per manufacturer's instructions. Oil tanks to be bottom outlet. Tanks are to be filled by contractor with at least 100L of approved fuel. .2 Supply & install new oil filter complete, and a spill containment tray at each location. .3 All tanks to be installed with a working oil-level gauge, as well as all products listed in Section 13201 of the included Specifications. .4 Fuel tank gauge to be equipped with a steel gauge protector to protect vandalism, or any such related threats. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
