Renovation of a municipal facility in Kaslo, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Village is a community with a population of approximately 1,050 residents and was awarded a grant from the Province of British Columbia to assist with renovating and repairing key elements of the Kemball Building, 312, 4th Street, Kaslo. The project’s mission is to contribute to the Kaslo Innovation Centre, a rural tech innovation and coworking space located in the historic, downtown Kaslo structure – ‘The Kemball Building’. The provincial grant along with other allocated Village funds will go towards much needed building fabric repairs and system replacement at the Kemball Building. The Project will consist of the following: Main floor renovation Upper floor renovation Bathroom renovation Repairs and upgrades to elements of the building Cancelled.
