The DeFuniak Springs Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) through this Request for Proposal No. 25-01-CRA, is soliciting Proposals from qualified and experienced architects for design services for the development of a vacant CRA-owned commercial property at 27 Crescent Drive. The CRAs goal for this property is to encourage revitalization in the Downtown Core by facilitating occupancy and overall site activation as a potential arts center. Responsive proposals will be evaluated based on the (1) firms experience and credentials, (2) approach and understanding of the project, creativity in past work, (3) cost clarity and control, (4) ability to meet service requirements, and (5) quality of references from similar projects. Proposals shall address planning, design, and project implementation Interested parties are invited to submit proposals in response to the request consistent with applicable plans, laws, ordinances and regulations governing the area. Respondents should refer specifically to this site and address all aspects of their proposed development. Proposals must include sufficient information and evidence of the legal and financial ability of the applicant to carry out the terms thereof. All applicants must fully respond and address all items of the project in their proposal submittal package. The CRA Board/Staff will not respond to oral inquiries.
