BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Region is undertaking improvements along 19th Avenue from Bayview Avenue to Leslie Street in the City of Richmond Hill, including widening 19th Avenue to a four-lane urban (including full depth reconstruction), paving, and installation of curbs and gutters, storm sewers, culverts, sidewalks, multi-use paths, traffic signals and lighting. The Services include, but are not limited to, material testing and evaluation services in connection with the 19th Avenue improvements, as further described in Appendix E - Specifications. The selected bidder shall not have any affiliation with, or be providing services for, the general contractor or any subcontractors or suppliers to the 19th Avenue improvements. MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Mandatory Laboratory/Testing Facility Requirements: please refer to Appendix A - RFT Particulars.
