Renovation of a mixed-use development in Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Balfour Beatty Construction, LLC and Clark/Sullivan Construction, in a joint venture, are requesting bids from qualified subcontractors (licensed subcontractors with A or B Classification(s) or C Specialty license for scope noted within the Bid Packages) for: Sacramento City USD Fern Bacon MS Campus Revitalization - Phase 3 (Lease-Leaseback) On behalf of the Sacramento City Unified School District. In addition to the bid form, please include a comprehensive bid proposal on contractor's own letterhead with scope breakdown. Question Deadline - 06/13/2025 at 4:00 PM PT - All Requests for Clarification must be submitted. Requests received after the deadline will not receive a response. Failure of a bidder to request clarification of apparent errors or ambiguities waives the bidder's right to object to a clarification issued later by the Architect or BB/CS. The final addendum, including RFI responses, will be issued on June 23, 2025 Refer to the Request for Information document in the project's Front End Documents folder of online for specific instructions for the electronic submission of all RFI requests. Subcontractors of all tiers, if awarded a contract for this project, will agree to be bound by the Project Labor Agreement and all terms and conditions set forth in the PLA. DISTRICT PREQUALIFICATION: M/E/P Subcontractors must be prequalified if the contract utilizes a Lease Leaseback delivery method. This applies to Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Subcontractors (C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, and C-46). The District must receive applications at least ten (10) business days prior to the scheduled bid opening on any advertised project in order for the candidate to qualify for that project. DISTRICT PREQUALIFICATION: M/E/P Subcontractors must be prequalified if the contract utilizes a Lease Leaseback delivery method. BALFOUR BEATTY CONSTRUCTION, LLC PREQUALIFICATION : All BIDDERs must be prequalified to BID on Balfour Beatty Construction Projects for any Bid in excess of $500,000.00. If the Bid Package amount is over $500,000, then the BIDDER must submit a prequalification package and be approved prior to any award. Approvals are good for 12 months and must be renewed annually. VETERAN BUSINESS ENTERPRISE PARTICIPATION PROGRAM : Pursuant to resolution in support of Service-Disabled Veterans Owned Businesses (SDVOB) and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE) approved on May 10, 2011, by the Board of Education, Balfour Beatty Construction, LLC is required to satisfy a minimum DVBE participation percentage of at least three percent (3%) for this project. In compliance with this program, the bidder shall satisfy all requirements enumerated in the bid package. This project is being bid as "Bid Packages". Bidders will have the option to bid multiple bid packages. A bidder interested in bidding multiple bid packages must also submit individual bids for each bid package and then provide bids with multiple bid packages combined. Bids will be reviewed and evaluated for completeness of scope coverage and awarded to the subcontractor who is deemed the best value for the project as a whole.
