The University of Illinois Chicago is seeking a Construction Management Professional Services Consultant (CM) for a four-story addition to the University of Illinois Hospital, Building 949 located at 1740 West Taylor Street, consisting of a new Clinical Decision Unit, shell space for Diagnostic Space and, future OR Expansion, and mechanical spaces, including the renovation of adjoining spaces. The total project includes approximately 35,670 GSF of new construction and 25,000 GSF of remodeled space. This project will include building components and systems including, but not limited to, architectural, HVAC, medical gases, electrical, AV and IT-related infrastructure, plumbing, and life safety. LEED Certification at Silver and Gold levels will be investigated. There is a 30 percent BEP goal for this procurement. See solicitation documentation for details. The MBE/WBE/WMBE/PBE goal for this proposal is 30% of the Consultants contract value
