The scope of work for Contract No. 25-S1 consists of the cleaning and closed-circuit television (CCTV) inspection of approximately 1,672 linear feet (LF) of 6" diameter sanitary sewer, 42,793 LF of 8" diameter sanitary sewer, 701 LF of 12" diameter sanitary sewer, 1,061 LF of 15" sanitary sewer, 6,572 LF of 18" sanitary sewer, 5,148 LF of 21" sanitary sewer, and 2,269 LF of 24" sanitary sewer; approximately 11,439 LF of heavy cleaning of sanitary sewer; all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction; and preparation of reports and digital file deliverable for all inspections as outlined in the Contract Documents. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Cecil Township Municipal Authority to guarantee the bidder's entrance into the contract if given the award. No bid bond shall be waived or returned because the Bidder has failed to or cannot comply with any requirements as set forth in the plans, specifications, or any applicable statutes of the State of Pennsylvania or any applicable Cecil Township ordinances. The Authority shall (a) award the construction contract to the lowest responsible bidder therefore, or (b) reject all bids received within ninety (90) days of the date of bid opening; provided, however, that the Authority may, in its sole discretion, delay such award or rejection for up to one hundred twenty (120) days from the bid opening date until the Authority has received all required approvals from other governmental agencies. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids.
