The Rural Municipality of Mount Hope No. 279 (RM 279) will be accepting quotations for the crushing and stockpiling of approximately 20,000 cubic yards of crushed road gravel. o Approximately 20,000 cubic yards of Type 108 3/4 " crushed road gravel. o Aggregate shall be taken from the Heller Pit, being the SE 21-26-19 W2. o Bidders are responsible for inspecting the site to determine the nature of aggregate to be crushed. o Average depth throughout area is approximately 4-16 ft deep. o Extra conveyor/stacker to place stockpile on level dry land. o Minimum 24" jaw required. o Possible sand and clay seams in pit. o All suitable material to be removed up to 20,000 yards. o The gravel crush is to begin on the east side of the existing/old pit. o Stripping will be done prior to gravel crush. o Water table is high. o Bidders may separately pile any stone too large for crushing for RM 279 to use as rip rap. An expected start and finish date (no later than October 31 st , 2025). RM 279 reserves the right to base award of tender on additional factors such as schedule, work force, application methods, availability, and not award to the lowest bidder
