Construct a Basic Military Training (BMT) Dining and Classroom Facility (DCF) 4 at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas, using conventional design and construction methods to support the mission of the facility. The project includes a multi-story structure with drilled pier foundation, concrete floor slabs, structural steel frame, masonry walls, standing seam metal roof, and an elevator. Functional areas will include a kitchen, dining areas, and multiple classrooms to serve residents of two Airmen Training Complexes. Work will encompass all site improvements, utilities, pavements, communications, and other tasks necessary to deliver a complete and usable facility. Environmental remediation will be performed to remove asbestos and mitigate any hazards. The facility will be designed as permanent construction in accordance with Department of Defense Unified Facilities Criteria 1-200-01, General Building Requirements.
