Description

This Invitation to Bid (ITB) is for qualified General Bidders (hereinafter referred to as Bidder or Bidders) the EV Charging Stations for the Clayton County Justice Center. The detailed Specifications are set forth in this ITB. Question Deadline 06/12/2025 at 3:00 PM ET Any questions regarding this ITB shall be submitted in writing by logging into online. The purpose of this project is to support the growing demand for electric vehicles (EVs) by expanding the local charging infrastructure at the Clayton County Justice Center. As more of a County transition to cleaner transportation options, the need for reliable and accessible EV charging stations becomes critical. This initiative aligns with national, state, and local sustainability goals aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions, improving air quality, and promoting energy efficiency. By installing EV chargers in strategic government locations, the project aims to: 1.1.1 Encourage broader adoption of EVs among the Clayton County Justice Center fleet users. 1.1.2 Support economic development by attracting environmental conscious within Clayton County. 1.1.3 Reduce the carbon footprint of transportation in our community. 1.1.4 Enhance the region's resilience and alignment with future mobility trends. Ultimately, this project lays the groundwork for a cleaner, more sustainable future while addressing current infrastructure gaps that may hinder EV adoption.
