all labor, materials and work to be performed under the following contract: FUEL OIL TANK REPLACEMENT AT 45 TRAVERSE AVENUE, PORT CHESTER Each Bid must be accompanied by a DEPOSIT in the form of certified check, cashier's check, or Bid Bond in the amount of Five percent (5%) of the Bid. Such Bid Bond shall be satisfactory to the Housing Authority executed and sworn to by a Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of New York, and shall be required to qualify in the sum equal to the value of the work as stated in the proposal of the Bidder for whom it is to act as Surety, shall insure the Port Chester Housing Authority, in an amount not les then five (5%) of the amount of the base bid proposal. Checks should be made payable to the Port Chester Housing Authority. Any bidder returning such set within thirty (30) days following award of contract covered by such Plans and Specifications or the rejection of the Bid of such person or corporation and in good condition, will be refunded the deposit. If the documents are not returned within the specified time, and in good condition, the entire payment will be forfeited.
