The City of St. Charles has an immediate need for a qualified contractor to perform seal coating and striping work to FIVE City-owned/maintained parking lots and ONE path at various locations within city limits. Questions concerning this request shall be submitted via e-mail to Procurement@stcharlesil.gov by the last date for questions as reflected above. A written response in the form of an addendum will be published by the date stated. OFFERS/QUOTES: Offers may not be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the due date without the consent of the City of St. Charles. The City reserves the right to reject any and all submittals or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities in proposal procedures and to award the contract in a manner best serving the interest of the City. Submittals will not be opened in a public forum. TIME OF WORK: No more than two of the lots may be taken out of service at any given time. All work must be planned to allow all work to be completed by close of business on Wednesday to allow regular parking on Friday evening and into the weekend. Lot E will be the exception to this rule, as the southern portion will need to be completed in the early morning hours on Sunday. The air temperature in the shade must be 55 degrees and rising for work to take place. TERM: The work shall be completed at a time mutually agreed upon by the contractor and the Public Works Division Manager. All work must be completed and invoiced no later than Wednesday, August 4, 2025.
