Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Surrey, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 10,000-seat stadium; hospitality development; and retail development.
Construction of a mixed-use City Centre Entertainment District on land located in Surrey City Centre. It is anticipated that the Entertainment District will be comprised of a 10,000-seat arena, 100,000 square feet of commercial retail/office and a 150-key hotel with 60,000 square feet of ballroom, meeting and conference facilities. TIMELINE: Request for Proposals inviting Proponents to submit Proposals that provide a solution for Development Advisor - City Centre Entertainment District and Arena has closed and a preferred proponent has been chosen. The City expects that a number of parties will be required to deliver the Entertainment District, including the following key parties who will collaborate as partners: Operating Partner, Development Partner. Further update in spring 2026. All inquiries related to this RFP should be directed in writing to purchasing@surrey.ca. Budget estimate is unconfirmed.
