Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Surrey, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 10,000-seat stadium; hospitality development; and retail development.
Construction of a mixed-use City Centre Entertainment District on land located in Surrey City Centre. It is anticipated that the Entertainment District will be comprised of a 10,000-seat arena, 100,000 square feet of commercial retail/office and a 150-key hotel with 60,000 square feet of ballroom, meeting and conference facilities. TIMELINE: Request for Expressions of Interest and Statements of Qualification (the "RFEOI/SOQ") is underway to: invite submissions (each a "Submission") from interested parties (each a "Respondent") indicating their interest in and qualifications for the development and/or operation and/or tenanting of the City Centre Arena and Entertainment District (the "Project"); and (b) identify and select a shortlist of Respondents to be available to participate in a subsequent procurement phase (the "Request for Proposals") for the Project. This RFEOI/SOQ is open to any interested party, including individuals and firms comprising corporations, consortiums or partnerships. This RFEOI/SOQ is not an invitation to bid. This RFEOI/SOQ is a general invitation intended to identify a shortlist of qualified Respondents to be available to participate in a future RFP for the project. *Development Advisor - KPMG Budget estimate is unconfirmed.
