Two (2) Year Contract for Preventative Maintenance and Repairs of Air Compressors for the Jefferson Parish Department of Public Works (Water). This is a service and repair contract to be provided on an as needed basis. The following Louisiana State License shall be required for this project: a. Municipal and Public Works and/or b. Specialty License: Limited Specialty Services. A Bid Bond will be required with bid submission in the amount of 5% of the total bid. Vendor must submit an electronic bid bond through the respective online clearinghouse bond management system as indicated in the electronic bid solicitation on Central Auction House. No scanned paper copies of any bid bond will be accepted as part of the electronic bid submission. Performance Bond is required in the amount of $5,000.00, and due at the signing of the formal contract. Payment Bond is required in the amount of $5,000.00, and due at the signing of the formal contract. Parish shall reserve the right to take action to do all the necessary repairs when vendor fails to complete these repairs within ten (10) calendar days after the cause of repair is reported and he had been authorized to proceed. Parish reserves the right to stop work at any time and to withhold payment thereon, whenever in its judgment the work is not being properly performed. The Parish also reserves the right to cancel the contract if in its judgment inferior work is being repeatedly performed.
