Site work for a civil project in Euless, Texas. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of July 07, 2025, the project is canceled. Project will not be approved at council. 605 and 607 West Euless Boulevard Located along the north side of a creek in Carr Park, these properties face potential undermining due to creek erosion. The creek is a natural earthen channel with no existing protection against further erosion. The City of Euless seeks a solution that includes removing large concrete debris from the creek, followed by bank restoration, erosion control, and bank stabilization. The proposed solution will likely require approximately 250 linear feet of gabion baskets, concrete walls, or an equivalent erosion control measure to stabilize the banks effectively. 914 S. Mills Drive and 711 W. Mills Drive These properties have outfalls at the western edge of their backyards, where significant erosion beneath the chutes has caused concrete fractures and structural failure. The outfalls discharge into a natural earthen channel with no current protection against ongoing erosion. The City of Euless requests a solution involving the removal of large concrete debris below the outfalls, followed by bank restoration, erosion control, and bank stabilization. The existing outfalls should be saw-cut to create a clean, finished edge for an improved aesthetic. The project will likely require approximately two 20-linear-foot sections of gabion baskets, concrete walls, or an equivalent erosion control measure to stabilize the banks.
