UNITED IRRIGATION DISTRICT is accepting sealed bid proposals to construct the FM 494 (Shary Road), SH 107 to Mile 5, Pipeline Relocation. furnishing all materials, supplies, and labor necessary for the construction of FM 494 (Shary Road), SH 107 to Mile 5, Pipeline Relocation, in accordance with the specifications on file at District Office A CERTIFIED OR CASHIER'S CHECK, or an acceptable bid bond in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the total bid shall accompany each bid as a guaranty that, if awarded the Contract, the bidder will promptly enter into each contract with United Irrigation District and furnish bonds on the forms provided. BIDDERS are expected to inspect the site of the work and to inform themselves of all local conditions. All work shall be completed within one hundred twenty (120) calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. United Irrigation District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any or all informalities, and to award the contract to the bidder or bidders, who, in the opinion of the District offers the proposal in its best interest. The prices submitted will be unit prices and the award will be based on the estimated quantity of work outlined in the bid form considering the work the Owner will actually perform. The work includes material, labor and equipment necessary to construct approximately 1,400 feet of new relocated irrigation pipeline, including earthwork, reinforced concrete gate wells, existing irrigation facilities removal, backfill, excavation, dry bore, and any other incidentals necessary for a complete and operable system in Mission, Texas. Steel and iron material shall be Buy America compliant. BIDDERS are cautioned that conditional or qualified bids, or bids not in the proper form may be rejected.
