The RMWB is seeking qualified respondents to remove and replace sections of concrete inside the bay doors of the Transit Facility Building (160 Airport Road, Fort McMurray). Damage to the aprons and slab edge are creating issues for both vehicle and pedestrian safety. The RMWB requires the successful respondent to remove and re-install sections of the slab inside the bays, as well as repairs to the heavily damaged aprons outside. This scope includes sub-trade coordination, as identified below. The Transit Facility Building will be in use during the renovation and will need to be completed in two (2) phases to ensure half of the shop can be utilized at a time. The successful respondent shall be responsible for all safety measures withing their work area for work teams, trades, vendors as well as building occupants. Scope Inclusions All permit applications, inspections, material testing and reporting and satisfactory closure of such Mobilization and secure management of the site staging and work area Safe demolition and disposal of concrete and plumbing (in-floor hydronic heating) components Provide general contracting services undertaking and coordinating all sub-contractors required Electrical services for the installation of a new in-ground garage door sensor for the wash bay entrance (inductive loop) Mechanical services for the modification to existing in-ground hydronic heat trace Setup and management of concrete dust control in occupied operable space including air quality testing Patching of demolished hydronic heating tubing as per specifications, supply of glycol and line testing Supply and installation of inductive loop detector for wash bay door automatic opener Management of all sub-contractors as required to perform this work Management of all work site safety as outlined by provincial health and safety protocols Documents can be obtained from https://rmwb.bidsandtenders.ca/ Question Deadline 06/20/2025 at 12:00 PM MT
