Renovation of a municipal facility in Nottingham, New Hampshire. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

**As of June 27, 2025, no bids were received. No definite date for the rebid.** The Town of Nottingham is seeking sealed bids for the exterior preparation and painting of siding, trim, and doors at the Nottingham Recycling Center, located at 11 Freeman Hall Road, Nottingham, NH 03290. The selected contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, and labor necessary to prepare and paint the building's exterior siding, trim, and doors. The work shall include, but is not limited to, the following: o Provide and erect all ladders and scaffolding required to access all building exterior areas in accordance with OSHA rules and regulations. o Scrape and remove all loose paint, old caulking, and dry caulking residue on siding and trim. Apply new paintable caulking where necessary to seal joints and prevent water penetration, per manufacturer recommendations. o Identify any rotted wood or trim and review findings with the Owner's Designee. Replace any rotted trim with pre-primed, finished wood. o Prime all bare wood surfaces with the specified primer. o Apply one coat of paint to all trim boards, soffits, and doors. o Apply one coat of paint to all siding. o Clean the work area at the end of each day, properly dispose of all paint chips, caulking remnants, power washing debris, paint cans, and materials. o Remove any paint from windows, door glass, and hardware. o Take precautions to avoid overspray onto patrons' vehicles or facility equipment. o Perform all work outside regular facility operational hours (i.e., no work allowed on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Monday morning). Painting Materials o Paints and Coatings: Use only factory-mixed coatings unless otherwise specified. Follow manufacturer's instructions for mixing, thinning, or adding materials. o Primers: Use the primer identified as "best" by the manufacturer for each substrate. o Application Accessories: Provide all primers, sealers, cleaning agents, cloths, sanding, and clean-up materials per the manufacturer's guidelines. o Acceptable Manufacturer: Sherwin-Williams or approved equal. o Paint Color: To be determined (TBD), matched as closely as possible to the original application.
