Renovation of a municipal facility in Lansing, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
PROJECT NAME AND LOCATION (INCLUDE STREET ADDRESS) Richard H. Austin Building - 1st Floor NE Suite Renovation 430 W. Allegan Street Lansing, MI 48933 Renovation of the Austin Building first floor NE Suite (Department of Elections) to include flexible training space, private office space, kitchenette space, as well as reconfiguring existing workspaces and storage spaces. In addition to the floor plan alterations, the interior finishes will also be renovated with new carpet, new wall paint, ceiling tile, and light fixtures. The suite is 10,500sf and will include 40 new Haworth workstations. Demolishing an existing office and conference room which will be reconfigured for a large break room incorporating a new sink. The remaining office will be repurposed for a storage room. At the East end of the suite, a portion of the open office space will be utilized for a new training room, break-out space, and a private Director's office. The remaining open office space is currently subdivided with office furniture (cubicles). New office furniture/cubicles will be utilized and reconfigured to accommodate the new layout.
