Renovation of a civil project in Ketchikan, Alaska. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The City of Ketchikan is seeking Statement of Qualifications (SOQs) for the services of a professional SCADA controls specialist for a full system upgrade of all wastewater SCADA controls for all pump stations and treatment plants. This project aims to enhance operational efficiency, reliability, and remote monitoring capabilities of the wastewater system. The selected firm will be responsible for designing, upgrading, programming, installing and commissioning SCADA systems, ensuring full integration of modernized control systems across all City of Ketchikan Wastewater facilities. Qualified firms must demonstrate expertise in: SCADA system design, integration, and implementation for municipal wastewater facilities. Experience with leading PLC and HMI software platforms. Networking and cybersecurity best practices for SCADA systems. Compliance with EPA, NIST, and local regulatory requirements for wastewater SCADA operations. Training and support for utility operators and technical staff.
