Site work for a water / sewer project in El Paso, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
McGregor Pump Station will be relocated from its original location to the existing Franklin East 1A site in the northeast area of the City of El Paso. The project includes a 2.5 MGD pump station, a building to house electrical and chlorine equipment, and a backup generator. The pump station includes three pumps that will operate using a variable frequency drive. The building will be built using concrete masonry unit walls and a cast-in-place concrete roof, with separate chlorine, mechanical, and electrical rooms to accommodate safety requirements and prevent corrosion of equipment. The chlorine system will supply a boosted chlorine feed into the elevated storage tank, with the chlorine injection and residual monitoring capable of real-time monitoring through supervisory control and data acquisition to maintain acceptable residual levels. The project does not include the decommissioning/demolition of the existing McGregor Pump Station. Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of five percent of the bid amount.
