Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Sheffield, Alabama. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

** As of July 9,2025, bids received were rejected due to over the budget. Project will It will need to be redesigned to stay within the budget.** The project will include the removal of approximately 2,155 LF of 38 rolled steel sewer main attached to the bluff along the Tennessee River and replaced with concrete encased 42 HDPE with a walkway on top. Also, includes trenchless repair of approximately 2,200 LF of24 and 36 gravity sewer lines. The Work to be done under the Contract will consist ofthe complete construction of each and every unit described in the Plans, the Specifications, Supplemental Specifications, Special Provisions, Addenda, Contract and Notice to Contractors, and all authorized alterations. The Contractor will furnish, unless definitely and expressly provided to the contrary in the Proposal and Special Provisions or the Plans, all materials, incidental materials, implements, machinery, equipment, tools, supplies, transportation and labor necessary to the prosecution and completion ofthe Work. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The total available budget for this project is $7M to $7.5M
