The not-to-exceed price will be derived from hourly fees submitted as a separate attachment with the response to this RFQ. d) The Surveyor will call for utility locates, request utility maps and collect field data on existing utilities, including site, materials, location and elevation on underground structures. e) The Surveyor will contact the City Project Manager for assistance with City-owned utility features that cannot be located or opened (i.e., manholes that are buried, paved over or have lids that are rusted, stuck or broken or similar items). f) The Surveyor shall process the field data, add utility data from maps and field locates and provide the field points file and processed digital electronic data in the file format indicated on the Survey Project Request Form. g) The City Project Manager and Surveyor shall coordinate improvements (CAD standards, Field Data Codes, Drawing Symbols, etc.) for future projects. The Public Works Department, who will be the primary user of the Contract, utilizes Civil AutoCAD 3D. The Utilities Department - Water Operations Division uses Carlson software, which is AutoCAD compatible. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
