The materials consist of four (4) separate Bid Items: Fire Hydrants Cold Water Meters and Related Equipment Ductile Iron Pipe (Cement-lined) Resilient Wedge Gate Valves Mechanical Joint Restraints Bids shall be made on the Proposal Forms furnished with the specifications. Bid prices shall remain in effect for a full year from the bid date or until a new proposal is bid in 2026 for all material orders placed by the Bedford Water Department Foreman. Bidders may not withdraw bid proposals until thirty (30) days after the date of the Bid opening. Proposals shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the Bidder, addressed to the Town of Bedford, Town Clerk's Office, 321 Bedford Road, Bedford Hills, NY 10507, and endorsed "Proposals for Bedford Water Department Materials-Bedford Consolidated, Cedar Downs, The Farms and Old Post Road Water Districts, Bedford, NY." The Town of Bedford reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any informality in any Bid and to award the Contract to other than the lowest Bidder if deemed in the best interest of the Town to do so.
