The CMWSC Phases 2 & 3 Water Line Improvements project includes the construction of approximately 23,800 linear feet of 18-20 water line, approximately 285 linear feel of 16 water line, approximately 1,870 linear feet of 12 water line, and associated infrastructure for Creedmoor-Maha Water Supply Corporation in Bastrop, Caldwell, and Travis Counties. A Cashier's Check, Certified Check, or Bid Bond payable to "Mustang Ridge LLC." in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid must accompany the bid proposals as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will within ten (10) days of the award of the contract, enter into a contract and furnish an acceptable Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. The Bidder's Check will be forfeited and become the property of the Owner should the bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish bonds acceptable to the Owner within ten (10) days after award of the contract. No proposals shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening of the bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive all formalities in the bidding process. A Maintenance Bond will be required in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the contract price and is to remain in force for a period of 1 year from the date of the letter of final acceptance from Bastrop County, Caldwell County, Travis County, TxDOT, and the District.
