Project Description: This is a Design-Build Project for a new requirement to provide construction and repair services for the installation of new emergency backup generator system (N+1) with modifications to the facility’s existing electrical infrastructure. Emergency electrical power will be provided to air-cooled chillers along with all the servers and support equipment containedwithin the server room. The repairs will consist of providing two Real Property Installed Equipment (RPIE) generators with fuel storage to replace the existing 1000kw generator. The installation of the main electrical requirements will include load bank, electrical panels, switch gear and all other parts necessary to integrate into the facility’s electrical system. Additionally, the project requires finalized engineered shop drawings stamped by a licensed engineer for generator enclosure.
