The work shall be completed in its entirety on or before August 29, 2025. The completion dates are predicated on the intent of ACHD to issue a Notice to Proceed to the Contractor on or about July 07, 2025. ACHD shall be entitled to Liquidated Damages of $1,000.00 for each calendar day of delay in the completion of the work. A delay on one portion of the project does not justify delays on other portions of the project. All questions or requests for clarification regarding this Invitation to Bid, including the content and requirements of the Bid and Contract Documents, must be submitted in writing no later than 12:00 pm on Monday, June 16, 2025. All inquiries shall only be submitted through the Q&A section of the ACHD eProcurement Portal. Bidders are advised to observe the stated deadline for submitting inquiries. Bidders are encouraged to click "Follow" on this Bid to receive email notifications when responses to inquiries are posted. It is the responsibility of each bidder to regularly check the eProcurement Portal for updates and responses.Any interpretation that may alter or change the ITB will be in writing, in the form of Addenda, which will be furnished via the eProcurement Portal. It is the Bidder's responsibility to check for Addenda before submitting bids. Proposals must be accompanied by an original or photocopy or electronic version, e.g. PDF, FAX, etc. of certified check, cashier's check, or a bid bond (collectively referred to hereafter as "Bid Security") issued by a surety authorized to issue such bonds in the State of Idaho, in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the proposal submitted. The right is reserved to reject all proposals or reject any proposal not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Contract Documents whenever such action appears to be in the best interest of ACHD.Award of a contract pursuant to this invitation may be delayed, without penalty, for up to sixty (60) calendar days after the date of bid.
