Reference number: 20074562 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2025-06-17 CÉGEP du Vieux Montréal, owner, is requesting bids for the replacement of a chiller used for heat recovery in its building located at 255 Ontario Street East in Montreal. The existing chiller and associated auxiliary equipment have exceeded their useful life and are showing advanced signs of deterioration. The scope of work included dismantling the existing chiller and a pump, supplying and installing a new chiller, a new pump, modifying the existing refrigerant detection and evacuation system, as well as the electrical work required to connect the new equipment, and general clean base modification work. The work must be carried out during the winter season, when the chiller is not in operation. Work may begin as early as January 5, 2026, and the new chiller must be commissioned no later than April 15, 2026. Work must be accepted with reservation (provisional acceptance) on or before May 15, 2026, and accepted without reservation (final acceptance) on or before June 30, 2026.
