Renovation of a water / sewer project in Rockford, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Switchgear Building Roof Replacement project consists of the replacement of the existing fastened metal roofing system on the Switchgear Building, located within the FRSA treatment plant, with a standing seam metal roof and all other appurtenances as indicated on the plans and in the specifications. The roof is a simple gable, has a 4:12 slope, and is approximately 2,400 S.F. All demolition, construction, installation and associated Project work shall be completed by September 30, 2025. Liquidated damages shall be $300.00 per calendar day. Each Proposal must be accompanied by the FRSA Bid Bond form with an acceptable Bid Security attached, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price. This amount is a guarantee that, if the Proposal is accepted, a Contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond in the full amount of the Bid or Proposal. No Bid shall be withdrawn without FRSA's consent for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. FRSA reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any part thereof, or to accept any bid or any part thereof, or to waive any formalities in any bids, deemed to be in the best interest of FRSA.
