Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in New Canaan, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; and road / highway.
The Town of New Canaan is accepting bids from qualified bidders to reconstruct the existing walking trail in Waveny Park from the South Avenue Entrance to the Merritt Parkway, as specified below and on the attached plan sheets. Bidders attention is called to the requirements as to the conditions of employment to be observed and to the requirements for commencement and completion of the work. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the bid opening. Additionally, the contract documents require the prompt commencement of the work. All bidders are requested to note that the award of this Contract is subject to the following conditions and contingencies: 1) The approval of such governmental agencies as may be required by law. 2) The appropriation of adequate funds by the proper agencies. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids or any part thereof, to waive defects in the same, or to accept any proposal or any part thereof deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of New Canaan, Connecticut.
