Standpipe Tank 350,000-gallon Capacity, Clean and Coat Interior and Exterior and Make Repairs The work of the Town of Nauvoo Water Department will be let under one Contract. The principal items of work are detailed herein below: Principal Work: 1. Standpipe Tank 350,000-gallon capacity, clean and coat Interior and Exterior and make repairs. The Contractor is hereby advised that TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE on this project and that the contract time of 150 consecutive calendar days and noted restrictions shall be strictly observed. Liquidated Damages Will Be Assessed if the Contract Time is Exceeded. The Contractor may apply for an extension of time in accordance with the provisions of the contract; however, such an extension must be approved prior to the contract completion date to avoid the imposition of liquidated damages. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
