The work primarily consists of demolition of the existing 350kW diesel generator at the Reclaimed Water Treatment Plant and installation of a new 400kW diesel generator, including all required appurtenances. Alternate item includes replacement with natural gas generator. This section describes the project in general and provides an overview of the extent of the work to be performed by the CONTRACTOR. Detailed requirements and extent of work is stated in the applicable Specification sections and shown on the Plans. CONTRACTOR shall, except as otherwise specifically stated herein or in any applicable part of these Contract Documents, provide and pay for all labor, materials, equipment, tools, construction equipment, and other facilities and services necessary for proper execution, testing, and completion of the work. A. The work primarily consists of demolition of the existing 350kW diesel generator at the Reclaimed Water Treatment Plant and installation of a new 400kW diesel generator, including all required appurtenances. Alternate item included replacement with natural gas generator. B. Work is to be completed at an active wastewater treatment plant facility, no work shall hinder operator's ability to access the site and perform necessary operational tasks during construction. No valves shall be turned, or connections made without operator's prior approval. The deadline to ask questions is 6/19/2025 12:00 PM CST - All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents must be submitted to the Engineer in writing at least five (5) days prior to the opening of bids.
