n an effort to supplement biosolids processing capacity, the Trinity River Authority of Texas (AUTHORITY) is soliciting bids to mobilize and operate 4 belt presses at the Central Regional Wastewater System (CRWS) dewatering building. Additionally, the Solids Management Improvement Phase IIIB project is currently in commissioning and startup which includes centrifuges. Solids from the external belt presses and centrifuges will be transported and lime stabilized by the SUCCESSFUL BIDDER to the CRWS Wet Weather Solids Storage Pad. Lime stabilized solids must meet regulatory requirement in CRWS's TPDES permit. Bid prices must include personnel, equipment, transportation vehicles and maintenance. CRWS will provide lime, emulsion polymer and electricity needed for the project. Additionally, AUTHORITY has tentative plans to centralize the Northern Region solids handling program. This may include transporting solids form the Denton Creek Regional Wastewater System (DCRWS), Red Oak Creek Regional Wastewater System (ROCRWS), Mountain Creek Regional Wastewater System (MCRWS) and Ten Mile Creek Regional Wastewater System (TMCRWS) to be lime stabilized and should be included in this bid. A. PERSONNEL SUCCESSFUL BIDDER shall furnish personnel, including drivers, to serve as the dewatering equipment operators and drivers for the purpose of transporting dewatered cake from the regional dewatering sites and from the CRWS centrifuge discharge point to the CRWS treatment plant lime stabilization wet pad. Additionally, SUCCESSFUL BIDDER will provide personnel for the operation and maintenance of the lime mixing system located at the CRWS treatment plant lime stabilization wet pad. Information regarding scheduled pre-bid meetings and public reading of the bids can be obtained from the bid website. All persons who would like to attend a scheduled meeting must login and register no less than 24 hours in advance of the event you wish to attend and each person will be required to show a valid government issued photo ID in order to be admitted to the plant site.
