Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Brook Park, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work to be performed under this contract consists of the removal and replacement of approximately 600 feet of Fry Road from south of Birchcroft Drive to south of Holland Road. The pavement will be replaced with reinforced concrete pavement on new compacted aggregate base. New curb, underdrains, pavement markings, catch basin repairs, and sewer repairs are included in the work. Each bid must be made upon the Bid Form provided in the contract documents and must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 100% of the amount bid or a certified or cashier's check or letter of credit drawn on a solvent bank in the State of Ohio in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount bid as a guarantee that if said bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and a Surety Bond satisfactory to said City in an amount equal to 100% of the total bid will be furnished. Checks shall be made payable to the City of Brook Park, Ohio. The right is reserved to accept any bidder, to reject any or all bids or parts of any bids and to waive informalities should it be deemed to be for the best interests of the City of Brook Park to do so. Any interpretation of the bid documents will be made only by addendum duly issued. A copy of such addendum will be mailed or delivered to each person who has obtained a Bid Form, but it is the responsibility of each bidder to check with the City prior to submission of his bid to be sure that he has received all addenda. The City will not be responsible for any explanation or interpretation of the bid documents made other than by addenda duly issued. The City will not be responsible for any oral instructions.
