The City of Weirton is accepting bids for the following: ROAD DE-ICING SALT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2025/2026 Please be advised that a Five (5%) Bid Bond, Non-Collusion Affidavit, State of West Virginia Affidavit, and Bid Sheet must accompany all bids or it will not be accepted. Bid Bond may be in the form of a Certified Check drawn on the bidder s account and made payable to the City of Weirton. All bids must be received and submitted in a sealed envelope designated as: PROPOSAL FOR ROAD DE-ICING SALT and delivered or mailed to: CITY OF WEIRTON, 100 Tell St., Weirton, WV, 26062. ATTENTION: Allen Hess, DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, and to accept any bid which it deems most favorable.
