Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Olar, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a 40,000-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
Design of the SC State PSA Animal Research & Extension Center (AREC) located at our Research & Extension Farm located in the town of Olar, located in Bamberg County, to support the new Animal and Veterinary Sciences program within the newly re-established College of Agriculture at SC State University. It will provide students and professors with the ability to engage in collaborative efforts in education and research. The Agency requests qualifications fromfirms interested in providing professional services for the project listed above. Any questions concerning this solicitation must be addressed to the Agency Project Coordinator listed above. Design services for a 40,000 sq ft two story building to be used as classroom, meeting and research space. Professionals should submit qualifications MEP, Building envelope, interiors, lab consultants, civil and structural. All written communication with parties submitting information will be via email. ANTICIPATED CONSTRUCTION COST RANGE: $15,000,000 to $17,000,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
