Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Atlanta, Georgia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

The work consists of the equipment, supervision, and all other services required for the complete demolition of the structures identified and described in the Asbestos Inspection Reports. All improvements must be completely demolished and removed from their present site. All demolition debris must be removed and disposed of properly in an appropriate landfill or recycled in accordance with the provisions of the Georgia Comprehensive Solid Waste Management Act of 1990 and the Georgia Rules for Solid Waste Management Chapter 391-3-4. The work will be completed in strict accordance with the Technical Specifications. The Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) Project Notification Forms are required to be submitted by the Contractor immediately once the Notice of Award is received. Work shall commence as soon as possible following issuance of the Notice to Proceed. All work must be completed thirty (30) days following the Notice to Proceed unless modified in writing by GDOT with a purchase change order. The EPD Notification filing is included in the thirty (30) day period. The work shall be completed as noted in the Demolition requirements within the Asbestos Inspection Report. Prime Contractors are defined as the firm submitting the bid response and the firm with whom GDOT will contract. The Team is defined as the Prime Contractor and their sub-contractor(s), who are considered team members. The Prime Contractor must be prequalified in the Right of Way Property Management service class (es) identified below in Section 5.A. The Prime Contractor or sub-contractor team members must be prequalified in the Right of Way Property Management service Question Deadline 06/09/2025 at 2:00 PM ET The project, shall be submitted in writing via e-mail to Stacey Allen, email Sallen@dot.ga.gov. Gdot will select the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder based on analysis of bid prices received. Bidders are responsible for checking this solicitation for any/all updates. It is the bidders responsibility to ensure that its bid(s) arrive on or before the specified time. No bids will be accepted after the time set for receipt. Caution: a restriction of communication is in effect for this project. From the advertisement date of this solicitation until a successful respondent is selected and the selection is announced, respondents are not allowed to communicate about this solicitation or scope with any staff of gdot, including the commissioner, and board members, except for submission of questions as instructed in the itb, or as provided by any existing work agreement(s). For violation of this provision, gdot reserves the right to reject the submittal of the offending respondent.
