City of Sardis submitted a pre-application to the Southeast Crescent Regional Commission (SCRC) State Economic and Infrastructure Development (SEID) grant program for Improvements to the Sardis Depot Community Center. The award of this contract is contingent upon the grant being selected for the funding by the SCRC. City of Sardis is seeking an Architectural firm or architect with broad experience to provide analysis, design and construction supervision for this project. Therefore, all activities must be performed in strict adherence to applicable federal and state law, regulations, executive orders, policies, procedures, and directives as indicated by the Southeast Crescent Regional Commission (SCRC). The primary purpose of this proposed project is to design improvements for the circa 1915 Sardis Depot Community Center. The contact for the project is Anne S. Procedures for selection of an individual/firm will be in accordance with the RFQ package and local procurement requirements, as well as the requirements of the Procurement Standards in Title 2 C.F.R. __ 200.317 - 200.327, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards, and applicable subparts. All qualifications will be evaluated in terms of project approach, quality of work, experience, capacity to perform, mobility, and project familiarity. Past performance on other projects may also be assessed in terms of timeliness, completing projects within budget, and other factors. Compliance with Federal Law, Regulations and Executive Orders The City of Sardis represents and warrants that federal financial assistance funds will be used to fund or reimburse claims made under the OPB Grant Award.
