This IFB is being issused by the Maryland Aviation Administration for the painting of K-9 building located at BWI Airport, Glen Burnie MD. Small Business Reserve Designation Yes. DEADLINE FOR QUESTIONS: All questions must be submitted in writing via email no later than 6/18/2025 at 11:00 am EST CONTACT PERSON: Robert J Coulbourne PHONE: 410-859-7275 E-MAIL ADDRESS: Rcoulbourne2 @bwiairport.com The contractor shall furnish all the necessary supervision, labor, tools, equipment, materials, paint, safety, insurance, and expertise to perform exterior painting of the BWI - K-9 Building at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI Thurgood Marshall). Vendor is responsible for surface preparation, repair and application of paint on the complete exterior of the BWI K-9 Building, approximately 3,000 square feet of exterior wall surface. Vendor is responsible for verifying the square footage of the building. Included in the painting is the metal trim, doors and other surfaces on the exterior of the building. The kennel side of the building will be painted with catalyzed epoxy basecoat and & urethane topcoat for extra building protection. Surface preparations will include, but is not limited to scraping, sanding, patching, filling holes, cracks, dents, caulking and pressure washing of all exterior paintable surfaces. Painter's tape shall be used to tape off all non-paintable area including windows, signage, light fixtures, etc. All landscaping will be protected. Vendor is responsible for the daily clean up and removal of all debris for the site. Vendor will provide commercial grade exterior paint, subject to approval of the Maryland Aviation Administration. Work will be completed Monday through Friday normal working hours. (7:30am EST-4:00pm EST)
