project: ASCPL Green, North Hill, Richfield, and Tallmadge HVAC Replacement Green Branch - 4046 Massillon Rd, Uniontown, OH 44685 North Hill Park Branch - 183 E Cuyahoga Falls Ave, Akron, OH 44310 Richfield Branch- 3761 Grant St, Richfield, OH 44286 Tallmadge Branch- 90 Community Rd, Tallmadge, OH 44278 This project includes HVAC upgrades at four separate library facilities. Green, North Hill, and Richfield library upgrades include RTU, furnace, fan, and electric heater replacements. Tallmadge library includes replacement of indoor air handling units and the addition of a heating water boiler system. Bids shall be addressed to The Fiscal Officer of the Akron-Summit County Public Library. All sealed bids shall be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope "ASCPL GR, NH, RI, TA HVAC Replacement." Bids received after the time designated in this advertisement will be returned unopened. All questions concerning the project shall be directed by email to Joe Cavanaugh, PE, CEM. of Scheeser Buckley Mayfield: jcavanaugh@sbmce.com. The last day to submit questions is Wednesday, June 25 at 12:00 p.m. (Noon). All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of the project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Summit County as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division, (614) 644-2239. Bidders are required to use the bidding forms included in the contract/bidding specifications. The Akron-Summit County Public Library reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all informalities and the right to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional bids. Also, the Library reserves the right to reject the bids of any bidder if the Library believes it would not be in the best interest of the Library to make the award of that bid; whether because the bid is not responsive or the bidder is unqualified or of doubtful financial ability or fails to meet any other pertinent standards or criteria established by the Library.
