Bids were rejected. All 3 of these bids were higher than the funding available for this grant funded project. The generator is to be located on the south end of the building on a concrete pad designed and provided by Contractor. The generator feed line will run up the side of the brick exterior and penetrate the building attic. The feed line will run through the attic space to a point where it would enter the electrical room. Because of space limitations, the ATS will be located outside the building at a location shown on the scoping drawings. The generator feed will connect to the line side of the ATS.The load side of the CT cabinet, which is in the electrical room, will connect to the line side of the ATS.The load side of the ATS will need to be routed to the electrical room where the MDP is located. Sealed Bids are invited for the delivery of an operational emergency generator system to serve the existing Richmond County Office Building located at 101 Court Circle, Warsaw, VA. The project scope requests a turnkey project bid that will provide the design, permitting, procurement, installation, testing and training to ensure a fully functional emergency power system ready for use as outlined in the Project Scoping Drawings attached to this ITB. Richmond County is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for the turnkey design installation of an emergency generator for the County's existing Office Building located in Warsaw, VA. Project Scoping Drawings are included to provide additional detail for the use of the contractor. These drawings are not considered design drawings or approved construction plans suitable for obtaining building permits. A nominal size of 130kW has been provided for the generator, but during the design phase the bidder will evaluate the size of the generator based upon building loads. The scope of services for this bid will include design and permitting services, equipment procurement, installation, testing, and training to ensure a fully functional emergency power system ready for use. The solicitation should also include detailed requirements for the generator, ATS, interconnection with the building infrastructure, the utility company and other related infrastructure further defined by the Project Scoping Drawing.
