Sealed bids will be accepted by Harrison Township (BID A) for traditional manual/unlimited and automated/limited collection and disposal of solid & yard waste/recyclable materials for a three (3)-year term beginning January 1, 2026, and ending December 31, 2028, with two (2) Township options for calendar years 2029 and 2030. Sealed bids will be accepted by Tarentum Borough (BID B) for automated/limited collection and disposal of solid waste for a three (3)-year term beginning January 1, 2026, and ending December 31, 2028, with two (2) Borough options for calendar years 2029 and 2030. Bids must be made on the bid forms and in accordance with instructions to bidders furnished by Harrison Township. Failure to do so will disqualify the bid. Harrison Township and Tarentum Borough are equal opportunity/affirmative action employers, and all qualified contractors are invited to submit a proposal. Harrison Township and Tarentum Borough reserve the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities and/or informalities in any bid, to waive any technicalities or any portion of any bid for any reason whatsoever, and to make an award in any manner, consistent with law, deemed in the best interest of the municipalities.
