As of July 18, 2025, the project was awarded to the following: Maxim Construction got PC-$183,000.00 MC-$259,000.00 EC-158,000.00 Costabile Construction got GC- 398,500.00 Total awarded amount is $998.500. This project involves the renovation and upgrading of existing furnaces, water heaters and exteriors at the Marion Villa Apartments under the direction of the Fayette County Housing Authority. Interior Mechanical, Plumbing & Electrical Work Removal and replacement of furnaces and air handlers with new units and associated ductwork, gas piping, exhaust piping, and thermostats. Replacement of hot water heaters with updated units, including new gas and water piping connections. Installation of GFCI outlets throughout units. New shut-off valves on the main water supply (base quantity of 25), with provision for add/deduct pricing. Exterior Renovation Work Painting and caulking of building panels, trim, porch ceilings, downspouts, masonry sheds, and storage area doors/frames. Repointing and replacement of brick across the site. Concrete replacement includes sidewalk, porch slabs, and reconstruction of selective stair sets. Installation and painting of new and existing metal handrails. Installation of new house numbers on unit fronts and backs. Price of these plans is non-refundable. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, or bank cashier's check payable to the Fayette County Housing Authority in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount. Bids shall be addressed to the Fayette County Housing Authority, 624 Pittsburgh Road, Uniontown, Pa. 15401. Envelopes containing bids shall be sealed and clearly marked "Sealed Bid" with the "Project Title", and "Contract Number" and "Date and Time" for receipt of bids. The Fayette County Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities in bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening without the consent of the Authority. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, national origin or age. In addition, the Contract will be under the requirements of Executive Order #11625 relative to new goals and timetables and Section III of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 and where applicable.
