Chiller and Boiler Maintenance Service Union County, North Carolina, through its Facilities Services Department, is soliciting proposals from experienced and qualified firms to provide Chiller and Boiler Maintenance Service in Union County. The county is requesting proposals from qualified contractors to provide chiller and boiler maintenance services. This includes the furnishing of all material, labor, supervision, supplies, tools and other expenses necessary to provide full annual service and preventative maintenance services on all water cooled chillers and boilers currently installed or being installed in county buildings. The successful bidder will be required to perform routine annual preventative maintenance and inspections on chiller and boiler equipment as well as 24 hour, on-call services for these systems. Non-emergency complaints regarding the contractor's work/workmanship must be responded to within 24 hours. Union County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive technicalities and to make such selection deemed in its best interest. Union County reserves the right to award to multiple vendors. Offerors are required to comply with the non-collusion requirements set forth in the Solicitation Documents. The primary purpose is to provide participating Offerors with the opportunity to ask questions, in writing, related to the RFP. All questions and answers may be posted online. The contract award may have an initial term of Three (3) years with two (2) one-year renewal option at the County's discretion, pending annual budget approval.
