Project Summary: The Erie County Department of Public Works - Division of Buildings and Grounds (herein also referred to as "The County") is seeking Qualification Statements for an Architectural & Engineering consultant to provide on-call professional design services related to roof replacement and building envelope repairs, rehabilitation and/or replacement as described herein, applicable at all County-owned buildings as assigned. Services to be provided are on-call for the Erie County Department of Public Works (DPW), and/or any other Erie County Department by request. Location of assignments for services will be as directed by DPW, with associated design fees to be negotiated as discussed below. Anticipated locations may include but are not limited to the below; Rath Building Old Erie County Hall Public Safety Campus 77 West Eagle In general, the work may include, but is not limited to, building exterior components, masonry and/or building facades, doors, windows, skylights, roofing, caulking, waterproofing, masonry repair and repointing, and miscellaneous related work to the buildings. Renewable roofing solutions should be considered for implementation for each Project assignment, budget allowing. This Term Agreement will include but is not limited the survey and/or existing condition analysis of drainage systems, roof top equipment, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and structural as necessary for a given Project scope assignment. It is expected that all disciplines impacted by the assign scope is to be included within the design as needed to accommodate new equipment and/or systems proposed. Consultant scope would also include any required coordination and/or required documentation with the New York State Department of State for compliance with Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code (and the State Energy Conservation Construction Code (Energy Code).
