Site work and paving for a civil project in Atkinson, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The project is referred to as "Atkinson East, C-45(519A)" and shall include all labor, materials, transportation and equipment required for the construction of ditch grading, 8" concrete pavement sections, installation of corrugated metal pipes, and other related incidental work. All bid proposals must be submitted on the forms furnished with the bid documents. The sealed bids may be mailed or delivered to the County Clerk of Holt County, County Courthouse, 204 North 4th Street, P.O. Box 329, O'Neill, Nebraska 68763, and should be plainly marked as, "Construction Bid Proposal - Atkinson East, C-45(519A)". Along with its bid proposal, each bidder shall submit an unconditional bid bond or certified check made payable to the County Treasurer of Holt County, Nebraska, in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the bid proposal. Also, each bidder is to provide a start of construction date and an end of construction date for each site with their bid proposal. The successful bidder (i.e. contractor) will be allowed eighty (80) calendar days for completion of the site after beginning work at the site, provided they do not exceed their specified completion date. Additional days due to weather may be granted at the discretion of the engineer. Within ten (10) days following the award of the contract, the successful bidder shall furnish a surety bond or bonds in an amount equal to or greater than the full amount of the contract. The surety and form of the bonds are subject to the acceptance by the Holt County Board of Supervisors. The Holt County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any irregularities in bids received. Award of the Contract will be in accordance with the County Purchasing Act's competitive bidding considerations as set forth in Neb. Rev.Stat. 23-3110 to 23-3114. Prior to beginning any Work, the Contractor is required to meet with all involved local governmental entities and advise them of any intent to use their local roads as haul roads. The Contractor shall be responsible for resolving claims concerning damage to local roads caused by its operations. The Contractor shall protect and indemnify the Owner its representatives against any claims or liabilities arising from damage to local roads, caused by the Contractor's operations. The project site is located as follows: C-45(519A) - on 877 Road between Avenue 476 and Avenue 480 Avenue, all in Holt County, Nebraska.
